For some reason I can't see any of my followers to the right hand side of my blog...any ideas??? This is weird!!

More Sunday family "togetherness"

To keep the kids from killing each other on Sunday we decided that we'd take them out for a little photo shoot. We've had a ton of fun just being with each other and pretending to be super stars!! At the same time spending some quality time with each other just hanging out and talking about our Sunday. We love Sundays. Its a wonderful thing to spend time with the ones you love. Anyways, we hope you enjoy these pics as much as we enjoyed taking them.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to shoot these two fine young people. Eldon and I went the same Jr. High school back in the days. He still recalls me popp'n and lock'n at the old school dances. I just met Jen not to long ago. It's a truly a pleasure getting to know them and the reasons for their relationship. It brought a lot of memories of my courtship with my wife back in the days. Thanks you two for making it a lovely night. Can't wait for the wedding this November.

As you can tell by now I've been following Maka "Aulava" of Photography by Maka around since I've been doing photography. He and I are the only polynesian male photographers in Utah that we know of. I think that connection kept me motivated to continue photography. I am forever thankful for his kindness in letting me tag a log with him and not having to feel like burden. He's truly a class act. Each of these photos are beautiful because of Maka's cool and calm instructions. He has a way of getting the couple to look "natural" in the photo. Thats part of my photography that I need practice with. So I'm glad I have an opportunity to learn from the best!

The beautiful couple in these photos are Josh and Michelle. It seems like no matter what they did, we got a picture perfect photo just by the way they looked. Such a handsome groom and beautiful bride. I had a great time shooting them. I hope you enjoy!

I have to give credit where credit is due. These photos were taken by my sister Ashley who has been part of AhquinFotoz from the beginning. I love these pics. My sister also has the eye for photography. It also helps when you have a beautiful model. This young beautiful senior is Langi(sorry I forgot her last name). This is actually the first time I've seen her since she was a little kid. She's my cousin's sister in law. What a beautiful model!!
