Goals accomplished in 2012: Update blog-FAIL Post new photos to blog-FAIL Work on portfolio-FAIL RESTART photography and video business-....in progress!! Happy New Year folks that still tune into this blogger thingy?!! It's me...Alvin! I know you don't remember me but it's really me!! I can't believe I'm making a new post on this ancient blog...so lame!! But at the same time, I've come to realize that I'm still in love with photography. I was looking through some of my old blog posts, and I caught myself really missing my blog. I've been neglecting this thing for awhile now and it has got to stop!!! What can I say about this child??LOL....well I've know her since she was 9 or 10 years old. How fast time flies. I can't believe she's so grown. This young lady is my wife's younger sister. She's sweet when she wants to be, loving and caring like her mother. Musically gifted like her father. There's so much I'd like to say but for now I'll just let you enjoy a few photos of her.

Kealoha has a rich cultural heritage of Samoan, Hawaiian and Korean. She is the third of eight children and grew up in the widely diverse SF Bay Area.
Kealoha is a very outgoing and creative person. She is an artist and a writer. She’s also a competitive athlete who loves to play volleyball and softball. She will be graduating in June and her plans are to attend college and serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.

Back in Action!!

I know I've been MIA on this blog for the last year or so but I'm back and I have a lot to post. Trying to establish my self after the move to the bay area (for the 2nd time), it seems like I never get a chance to really relax and get in the groove of things again. Thats just life!! I guess. I appreciate all those that click on the blog to check up on it once in awhile. Going back and forth between work, school, video, and then back to photography, it's been an interesting journey but I think things are starting to settle down now. I'm thankful that Heavenly Father still allows me to shoot and exercise my talents.

Below is a family celebrating their father's 70th birthday. I am so happy to be a part of his special day. I hope that I captured some of the joy and happiness that was present that morning. Enjoy this preview:
