Maka's wedding Shoot: Josh and Michelle

As you can tell by now I've been following Maka "Aulava" of Photography by Maka around since I've been doing photography. He and I are the only polynesian male photographers in Utah that we know of. I think that connection kept me motivated to continue photography. I am forever thankful for his kindness in letting me tag a log with him and not having to feel like burden. He's truly a class act. Each of these photos are beautiful because of Maka's cool and calm instructions. He has a way of getting the couple to look "natural" in the photo. Thats part of my photography that I need practice with. So I'm glad I have an opportunity to learn from the best!

The beautiful couple in these photos are Josh and Michelle. It seems like no matter what they did, we got a picture perfect photo just by the way they looked. Such a handsome groom and beautiful bride. I had a great time shooting them. I hope you enjoy!

Langi's photo shoot

I have to give credit where credit is due. These photos were taken by my sister Ashley who has been part of AhquinFotoz from the beginning. I love these pics. My sister also has the eye for photography. It also helps when you have a beautiful model. This young beautiful senior is Langi(sorry I forgot her last name). This is actually the first time I've seen her since she was a little kid. She's my cousin's sister in law. What a beautiful model!! Thank you Langi and Rosie for giving us the opportunity to shoot some photos for you guys. Enjoy!

It's another BOY!!

I'm so blessed to have two future Priesthood holders. I'm proud to introduce our 2nd boy Ezra Mapusaga Ahquin. I've been so busy helping out the wifey these past few weeks I haven't had time to post any new pictures. I've haven't had time period! I've put my photography to the side to put some of my ducks in order. Now that things have settled down a little, it's time to get my blog back to normal. Thanks Lizzy for reminding me to post the pics of Ezra. Enjoy!

Teki's Photoshoot

Sorry it's been a long time since I've posted anything. I've been busy helping my wife prepare for our new addition to the family. We plan to go in Monday morning to get baby Ezra out. Yeah!!! These are some sample pics of one of my favorite up and coming artist Teki. He doesn't need an introduction. You already know!

Kids will be Kids

I didn't edit these pictures just for the fact that I wanted to show how my son and his two cousins can brighten up anyone's day. Even with Hyrum's battle wounds from playing and popsicle stains on his face, his hansom face still radiates through. I'm glad that I caught these kids in the act of just being "kids".

MikeNJacklyn5

My buddy at work and his lovely wife was kind enough to come out for an evening to shoot some photos. I've known Mike for the past 6 months. We both work for South Jordan City. We have a great time talking about our missions and past experiences. He served in Australia about 3 years ago. After which he met his beautiful wife Jacklyn. I was blessed to be with them for the evening. We'll have to do it again. Oh by the way Jacklyn, your turkey only made it half way home....nah just kidding I saved a couple pieces for my wife and son!
